About Sofía
"I believe people can be their better versions. It takes courage — and we need to listen to our inner voice, get in touch with our instincts."
With a Bachelor's in Psychology from Universidad Iberoamericana and a Master's in Family Therapy from ILEF, I have spent over 15 years working alongside individuals, families, and children at some of life's most tender and challenging moments.
But what truly shapes my work isn't only my training — it's what I've lived. I know firsthand what it feels like to navigate life transitions, to sit with existential questions that don't have easy answers, to go through fertility treatments and carry the emotional weight that journey brings, and to leave one country for another and suddenly wonder: who am I here? Where do I belong?
I understand these experiences personally
I have lived in Belgium, Switzerland, and Mexico, and currently call the United States home — a multicultural journey that deeply shapes how I see and understand people. I've also worked as a family therapist, early childhood specialist, and parent workshop facilitator — always drawn back to the same truth: that growth is possible for everyone willing to look inward with honesty and compassion.
